Before children start to write they need to develop their fine motor skills and this can be done with some fun activities for your little tots. This week on Tuesday Tots I’m featuring 4 fun activities for Tots to develop Fine Motor Skills.

4 Fine motor activities for Tots - with Tuesday Tots Link up over 100 ideas linked up each week.

First off over on Mama OT there is some fun with Pom Poms and some items from the junk modelling box. So quick and easy to set up and perfect for the younger tots to enjoy and play with (easily transportable as well).

Although the pincer grip is important the fine motor control is needed through all the muscles in the hand and the activity over on Crayon Freckles with some kitchen equipment is perfect for helping to develop those mussels.

Over on Reading Confetti another activity to develop those hand muscles with some added bonuses of bringing books alive and some maths fun as well perfect for the tots to work on multiple skills at the same time.

More fun developing the hand muscles over on 123 Homeschool me which has some maths ideas as well as a free printable to help with the activity.
