Basic Apple Crumble Recipe
Delicious traditional rainy day and comfort dessert for family meals. This easy apple crumble recipe is quick to make and tastes amazing.

- 2 portions Basic Crumble Mix See the Recipe Notes for the Link
- 450 g Bramley Apples, peeled, cored and chopped This is approximately 4 large apples
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp Caster Sugar HEAPED
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon Optional
Preheat the oven to 200C
Make the Crumble Mix as instructed.
Peel, core and chop the Bramley Apples into small cubes.
Pour over the lemon juice and mix well so that all of the apples are covered.
Add the sugar and mix again - at this point if you wish you can add the ground cinnamon.
Pour the crumble topping on top of the apple mix and even out with your hands.
Place in the middle of the oven for between 30 and 40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Serve best with vanilla ice cream or warm custard
