- 4 large Lemons
- 1/2 Cup of Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Hot Water
- 4 Cups of Cold Water
Measure out 1/2 cup of sugar
Use just boiled water and place in a heatproof container. Pour in the sugar to the 1/2 cup of just boiled water.
Stir until all the sugar has dissolved and you have a sugar syrup.
Cut the Lemon in half
Squeeze the Lemons collecting all the juice possible from each.
Into a jug pour the lemon juice add the sugar syrup and stir.
Measure out 4 cups of water and add them to the mix
Drop in a tray of ice cubes or more and then serve cold for a treat.
