Is it really embarrassing to admit but until Dr Seuss was decided as the author for February’s Virtual Book Club for Kids we didn’t own and I had never read to J and T any Dr Seuss books. The Foot Book by Dr Seuss is such a fun book to read with young kids.
J and T love to hear the rhythm of the words in The Foot Book and the illustrations are a lot of fun to look at. Talking about right and left, big and small this is great for doing some opposites with them as we go through.
Harpercollins in the UK have rebranded the books and this one falls in the Blue Backed Book category which is for read alouds with young children and it is perfect just for that.
