Ingredients for your St Patrick’s Day no Chill Sugar Cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Green food coloring
- Green sugar sprinkles
How to Make St Patrick’s Day Sugar Cookies with Kids
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and green food coloring. Beat to mix, adding more food coloring as needed.

4. Add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder to the bowl. Mix until combined and thick dough forms.

5. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop out balls of dough. Roll each dough ball in the green sugar sprinkles, then place on the prepared baking sheet around 1 inch apart.

6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
