When I was young so so much younger than I am now there was a cookie that I discovered in the USA that made my mouth water. When I worked in Costa Rica the student groups we worked with had one item on their packing lists that was just for me. So when 9 years ago they appeared in our local supermarket here in the UK whilst I was pregnant I was overjoyed. The latest selection is the delicious Flavours Range with 4 flavours that will perfectly suit your personality and taste. Pack of Choc’o Brownie Flavour Oreo Cookies
200g White Chocolate Chips
Food colouring Gel – Orange and Black
How to Make your Snowmen Bites from Choc’o Brownie Flavour Oreo Cookies
Start by melting your chocolate chips.
Whilst these are melting line a baking tray with some silicone paper or use a baking tray liner so that the snowmen won’t stick.
Once melted coat the Oreos with the white chocolate.
Leave to cool in the Fridge.
Mix up the food colouring gel with a little water and if needed add a sprinkle of icing sugar as this will make the gel much easier to paint on the hardened chocolate.
Once you have your snowmen faces let dry and then enjoy – 1 cookie = 1 serving
Quick and Easy Snowmen BItes made with 3 ingredients including the NEW Choc'o Brownie Flavour Oreo Cookies. Perfect for leaving out for Santa on Christmas Eve
- Pack of Choc'o Brownie Flavour Oreo Cookies
- 200 g White Chocolate Chips
- Food Colouring Gels of various colours
Melt your white chocolate chips.
Whilst they are melting line a baking tray with some silicone paper.
When the white chocolate chips have melted take off the heat and stir to make sure they are smooth.
Then take one of the Choc'o Brownie Flavour Oreo Cookie and coat with the melted white chocolate
Place on the baking tray and repeat with all the rest
Once you have all of them coated place the baking tray in the fridge to cool.
I am using orange and black food colouring gel to add in the snowmen features but this is too concentrated so take a tiny portion.
Add a little water to get a thinner consistency.
Then add your snowmen featured to the cookies once they are cooled
Top Tip: If when you come to paint the snowmen faces the food colouring isn't holding very well on the white chocolate then dip your paint brush into some icing sugar and mix this in with the food colouring - you can then paint it on much easier.
Ideal to Serve with Milk and a Carrot on Christmas Eve for Santa to enjoy!
