Black card
Coloured card
Ribbon that you can hang your pegs onto
Needle to thread your ring through the pegs
Pastry cutters or other circle shapes to draw around
Snowflake Punch (optional)
Mirrored Card (optional)
Foam or cardboard letters (optional)
Optional – envelopes to hold your advent activities -> Watch the video below to discover some of the ideas for Advent Activities you could include.
How to make your snowmen advent calendar
Draw around two different size circles – I used pastry cutters as I have a collection of different sizes – so choose a larger one and one two steps smaller.
Cut these out.
Stick the two pieces of snowmen together to make a head and body.
Cut out a hat shape – top hats for our snowmen.
Using a different coloured card cut out a scarf shape – you could give the snowmen different coloured scarves.
With orange card cut out some small carrot shapes and stick these onto the snowmen.
Place extra tacky double sided sticky tape along your peg.
Attach the wooden peg to the snowman making sure that the parts that you press are facing the top.
Make a set of 24 of these snowmen.

Thread the ribbon throw the hole in the spring of each snowman. We placed 12 on each ribbon.
Peg your snowmen up and attach the envelope if you wish.
I added a punched snowflake to the envelopes to make it a little more festive which I attached with more double sided sticky tape.
