Fun Rainbow Activities for Kids
Spring is almost here and for us that means Spring showers and sunshine which of course means Rainbows – these are some of the fabulous Rainbow Activities linked up to Tuesday Tots this week.
A gift of curiosity had lots of fun with dyed pasta rainbow threading – perfect for fine motor skills for your tots and a lovely colourful variation on the rainbow theme.
Teaching Little Ones at Home used a seed catalogue to create a rainbow with different colours – I love the use of the circle punch another fabulous fine motor activity for kids as well as creative fun.
I love this tissue paper rainbow from 3 Dinosaurs on the window – adding elements like this to our windows brings the topics we are having fun with alive.
Trillium Montessori has a fantastic selection of Montessori Rainbow Activities for preschoolers.
Even more fine motor skills with this rainbow pom pom fun from Sugar Aunts – the colours are so vibrant in the display trays.
As big fans of using junk in our crafts this rainbow egg carton painting looks fantastic especially for the youngest toddlers I can only imagine the fun that mine would have with it from Sugar Aunts.
We love playing with Rainbows and rainbow rice is one of our favourite ways to get sensory with the colours of the rainbow – dying the rice is very easy and J and T then love letting it flow over the hands, and trying to find the colours in the rice.
We also get crafty with Rainbows and J will copy a rainbow diagram putting the coloured squares into order to create a rainbow collage.
If you are looking to link up to Tuesday Tots then please check out our Tuesday Tots post – from this week our featured posts will form their own post on the blog and Tuesday Tots will have it’s own post.
