5 Natural Objects to play with

Playing with Nature

This week on Tuesday Tots I’m featuring 5 ideas for playing with Natural objects even though it’s winter and cold outside you can still get out and about playing.

First off is Making Boys Men with 5 Reasons why they love playing in mud. We do as well and of the two I have to say T is likely to get the most muddy pop over and see why mud makes an excellent play material.

Stones make wonderful things to play with and you can craft with them as well – Mummy Mummy Mum turned the stones from her backgarden into a set of stone Domino’s to play with.

To go great with Stones we must have sticks and Red Ted Art after a recent hangout shared 10 crafts for sticks for play and fun. I’ve spent all afternoon shredding sticks and branches in our garden and now wish I had saved some to try these out.

It’s winter and that means snow and what a fun way to interact with it over on Fun a Day with some snow building blocks. I have a feeling we may have to wait till next winter to do this but looks a lot of fun.

Taking some frozen water and doing ice painting looks a lot of fun and would be great for winter or summer fun.

Playing with Nature and having fun outdoors is one of the part of our promise to play in 2013 and I’m setting aside at least 15 minutes everyday to be outside with the children – this may be the walk to preschool and back (that takes about an hour in total) or it could be just playing in the garden in the rain but 15 minutes every single day.

Nature and PlayAs I want to share our outdoor play and activities I’ve started Nature and Play – a website to encourage you to play outside everyday what ever the weather – please pop on over and find out more.

  1. Today, I usually wear a diamond stud coronet in one
hearing, and never believed much of it? But today I
used to be just wondering do you think men seem gay or feminie along with earings or does
    it look ok?.
