Little Bunny and the Magic Christmas Tree – brought to you by I heart Crafty Things
Today’s Story Book Advent post is brought to you by Rachel from I heart Crafty Things and the book Little Bunny and the Magic Christmas Tree. A lovely little tale of a tiny Bunny – the smallest in it’s family who is teased by others for being so small. He really wants to decorate the tree and play with the ornaments but he’s to tiny to reach saddened by this he falls asleep under the Christmas tree and awakes to find the ornaments alive – but he’s too big to join in the fun so he wishes himself smaller still and joins them. After a magical Christmas night playing with the ornaments he has to decide whether to be big and join his family or stay small and continue playing with the tree ornaments.
As you would imagine from I heart Crafty Things Rachel has brought the book alive with a fantastic Christmas Tree Craft for kids to do. Using a fun painting technique and decorated with glitter glue, sequins and card the effect is wonderful. Check out the great tip for getting a fantastic even Christmas Tree as well.
