Incy Wincy Spider Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers
Here on Rainy Day Mum, we love our Nursery Rhymes. From Classic Baby Rhymes to counting songs to help us learn. One of our favourites is Incy Wincy Spider (or Itsy Bitsy Spider as it’s sung in the USA). Today we have a collection of our favourite Activities inspired by that nursery rhyme. So here we go Incy Wincy Spider Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers.
INCY WINCY SPIDER (ITSY BITSY SPIDER) LYRICS
Incy wincy spider climbed up the water spout,
down came the rain and washed the spider out,
out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain
and incy wincy spider climbed up the spout again!

When I asked my toddler and preschooler what they knew about Incy Wincy Spider they said that he makes webs. So we took that idea and create and Giant Spider’s Web in the garden. This is a great fun activity to get the kids moving.
Mama Papa Bubba created a spider with it’s web.
Take the spider outside and create a spider cave in your back garden from Adventures at home with Mum.
Create with your Hands shows how to explore spider’s webs and gives some great book recommendations to go with them.
We love to craft with paper plates – this Spider’s Web craft is ideal for making with toddlers and preschoolers when you sing along with the Nursery Rhyme.
