Do your kids love Heinz Tomato Ketchup as much as mine do – so having the opportunity to grow your own tomatoes with Heinz Tomato Ketchup is fantastic.
T is my little garden buddy and we set off to grow some tomatoes – April is the perfect time to start them off, if you can grow them in a green house, in your own home made propagator like this one from Red Ted Art or on a window sill it’s perfect to get them off to a great start.
We have some potting compost as do a lot of gardening but if you don’t it’s easy to pick up in the store. T and I filled up a pot with the compost and patted it down.
We then sprinkled the seeds on the top and watered it added a label (find out how we made these easy toddler seed labels) and it’s now sitting on our windowsill to grow.
If you would like to join us to grow your own tomatoes with Heinz then pop on over to the Heinz Tomato Ketchup UK Page where they are offering you free tomato seeds and loads of information about growing tomatoes on the Heinz Grow Your Own App which is fun and educational.
We received equipment to grow your own tomatoes from Heinz Ketchup UK.
