Although I may have said that these Halloween Snacks are “cook with kids” technically there isn’t any cooking involved just some melting in the microwave so they are super easy to make and as they take a little time to dry you can make them ahead of time.

You can use one of 3 things to make these ghost treats for Halloween with the kids – either white chocolate, white candy melts or almond bark. Just which ever you use follow the melting instructions on the package to ensure that you don’t burn them whilst melting.
I prefer the taste of the white chocolate or almond bark, but my kids like using the white candy melts as they are denser so you get a thicker coat. Use which ever is your preference in the recipe.

Ingredients for Making Ghost Pretzels with Kids
This will make 30 mini ghost and take around 30 minutes including cooling time. They can be made ahead of time and stored in an air tight container until ready.
- 30 mini pretzels
- 2 cups white chocolate, white candy melts or almond bark see above for more information
- 60 candy eyes – this is the make that I like as it has a combination of small eyes for these and big eyes for cookies
You will also need some wax paper
How to Make Mini Ghost Pretzels
1. Melt your chosen white chocolate according to the package instructions in a bowl.
2. Dip each mini pretzel in the melted chocolate.
3. Transfer the chocolate covered mini pretzel to a piece of wax paper and immediately add two candy eyes to the top of the pretzel.
4. Allow the chocolate to cool and harden before serving.

- Baking sheet
- Wax Paper
Ingredients
- 30 Mini Pretzels
- 2 cups White Candy Melts see notes above for recommendations and alternatives
- 60 Candy Eyes
Instructions
- Melt the 2 cups White Candy Melts according to the package instructions
- Dip each 30 Mini Pretzels into the melted chocolate
- Place on a piece of wax paper and quickly before the chocolate starts to set add the 60 Candy Eyes
- Allow to fully cool before snacking on
