I’m starting to go into panic mode that J will start preschool in a couple of weeks time and this means that I will have to get organized – well somewhat more organised than I am at the moment otherwise we will never find anything that he needs or miss out important events and trips. We’ve turned to Ebay for some inspiration to keep our home organised.
In the rush to get out of door we need somewhere to store the toys and this fire engine toy box is perfect. J loves fire engines and this would fit perfectly in his big boy bedroom theme of cars and trucks.
As you know – J is also FROG mad and this pocket hanging storage is perfect for all those smaller bits – I can see it full of his soft toys and bedtime books for the end of the day to help him get a greats night sleep so he’s ready to go again the next day.
J and T both love baths and one of the things they love the most is playing with their toys in the bath. At the end of the day the thing that I want to do least is put them all on the bath sides to dry out after they have gone to sleep (I’m about ready to go to sleep), this pelican bath toy tidy looks great and J and T could put their own bath toys away plus with the net they would dry out over night as well.
Getting organised in the morning
I like to be organized the night before and get out the kids clothes ready to put on first thing in the morning but with school uniforms and smarter clothes I don’t want them thrown around the room before I get up (yes that really happens) so this beautiful clothes hooks would be perfect for T’s bedroom.
Keeping us organized
Yes a family calendar is essential to make sure that everyone knows where everyone else is… and what is even better is one that’s for Dad’s – do you think he may check it before he leaves the door (we can but hope).
There will be lots of photo’s over the next few years and to help me remember to keep them where I can find them a storage box like this one with Photos to Torture The Kids with Later is perfect.
These are just some of the home organisation ideas that you can find on Ebay to help you get your home organised ready for back to school in a couple of weeks time. If you want some inspiration of ways that you can do it then please check out our Organising Kids Stuff Pinterest Board which is full of ideas for organising your kids stuff how ever big or small your home space is.
As part of the back to school campaign Ebay is running a facebook competition – check out what we made as part of it (well J and I made together) and come and join in via the competition app.
