Flower Activities for Tots
This week I’m featuring 10 flower activities for tots linked up last week to Tuesday Tots including crafts, play and some outdoor fun – it’s Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and we all seem inspired by the flowers we are seeing in our gardens and as we take walks to incorporate them into our posts.
Starting off with flowers in some imaginative play over on Nature and Play – with real flowers turned into a Daisy Crown and leading to some free outdoor imaginative play for toddlers.
Over on Capri + 3 they have been inspired to created some blooms of their own by raiding the junk box to create a flower from recycled items.
Another recycled flower – this time a complete Egg Carton Flower Bouquet from Kitchen Counter Chronicles perfect for giving to a mum on mother’s day.
Over on The Kavanaugh Report they had a Spring Time Themed Tots School week – and one of the activities was this great felt flower matching and sorting. I know what I will be making this week for T.
Over on B-Inspired Mama they shared a fun activities from Fun-a-day! with some felt shape flower making – what a great activity for little ones to do.
Make a simple daisy crown with your little one.
How great are these large Spring Flower Arts – I feel a rearrangement of our dinning room going on just to be able to find some wall space to make these with J and T this week this is a featured post from Buggy and Buddy on B-Inspired Mama’s From the Mama’s showcase.
With some hands and some paint this crafty apron for Mama is a perfect gift for little hands to make for Mum for mothers day from B-Inspired Mama.
Over on Maro’s Kindergarten they are preparing for Mother’s Day with these flower basket cards that kids can make and look so cute.
Another flowery craft perfect for mother’s day gift – this hand print flowers tote bag from Raise a Boy is so cute and ideal for even your youngest one to make with you (gift for a grandmother from first grandchild perhaps).
Over on Here come the Girls they have some great ideas for Sunflowers – from growing to reading and even some Van Gogh Art with Toddler Fun with Sunflowers.
If you have popped over for the first time and would like to see your posts featured in one of our weekly round ups like this 10 Flower Activities for Tots them please come and link up to this week’s Tuesday Tots where I find inspiration to feature each week.
