What You'll Find on This Page
Themes and Featured books for March
In March we have 4 themes which are spring and Easter related - the Easter themed weeks though could easily be adapted for us in Spring only.
March 5 - Rainbows
I love this theme as it's gives an opportunity to talk about the weather, light and colours and is perfect for St Patrick's Day as well. This year we have chosen the book Rainbow of My Own by Don Freeman.
March 12 - Bunnies
March 19 - Eggs

March 26 - Birds

April 9 - Zoo
One of our favourite field trips is to take the kids to Zoo. It's a fantastic way to get them to see some of the animals they only ever see in books and on TV. Our featured book Good Night Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann is perfect to read together and make sure you plan a trip to your nearest Zoo this week.
April 16 - Community Helpers
April 23 - Frogs
April 30 - Garden
