Do you have any Lego fans in your house? I certainly have a couple here and they both can’t wait for the latest Lego movie to be released, Lego Ninjago. In fact, it’s all my eldest talks about at the moment. He and his friends are playing it in the playground, he’s talked about the toys and I’ve heard all about the ride at Legoland Windsor too – despite us not going there. We’re so excited in fact, that we’re celebrating and will be throwing a Lego Ninjago Party at our local Cineworld – and here at home. Today I wanted to share with you an easy (so easy) DIY for some Lego Ninjago party favours and a Lego Ninjago inspired cinema snack that you could make.

Cineworld has been our local cinema for a number of years and as well as having fantastic Movies for Junior through school breaks and on a weekend. So what better way to celebrate a birthday, achievement or just spend some quality time together than throwing a party and heading to the cinema to watch the newest release from Lego. Chocolate – either eating or cooking is fine. I prefer the taste of my favourite chocolate bar melted but even chocolate chips work

Small Snack Bags – these Ziploc snack bags are an ideal size

This is easy

  1. Clean Lego MoldGet ready for the latest release from Lego at the movies with these easy party favours and Cinema Snacks that the kids will enjoy.

Pop Corn Kernels to Pop

Candy Melts – in Red, White, Green and Blue the colours of the Ninjago characters in the movie

A little oil

Print out the Lego Popcorn Boxes from Powerful Mothering to fill and take with you

How to make your Lego Ninjago Inspired Cinema Snack

  1. Pop your popcorn – this is one of my kid’s favourite things to do!
  2. Let it cool and whilst it cool start melting your candy meltsGet ready for the latest release from Lego at the movies with these easy party favours and Cinema Snacks that the kids will enjoy.

  5. When the popcorn is covered take out and lay out on some baking paper and allow to cool (I put mine in the fridge to speed up the process)
