Easy Oaty Sensory Tub for Babies and Young Toddlers

It’s Day 9 of 30 days to Hands on Play and we are having so much fun completely the challenges daily. So onto today….

Today’s Challenge: Sensory Tub!

Now although we play regularly Sensory Tubs are not something that we have ever done. Yes we played with cloud dough but I have never put together a sensory tub. So this was a new experience for me. I decided that as we are still reading our bear books that I would put together a sensory tub based on Goldilocks and the 3 bears we used different textures, as well as different sizes of containers and J and I sat on the floor and played with it. T came over and investigated but wasn’t really sure about it.

We did have a lot of fun and I think it’s something that I need to do more regularly maybe have a bin set up once a fortnight or month for use during the week.

  1. Some kids take longer to enjoy messy play. They’re both adorable and lucky to get so many rich learning experiences so early:)
