We're half way through the 30 days to hands on play and we've having so much fun playing together. Our 15 mins frequently turns into 30 mins, an hour or even longer. So for day 15
We love Junk, most of our crafts involve junk just last week our Five Little Speckled Frogs were created from an egg carton. For today's challenge we turned some junk into musical instruments. Using dried rice, pasta and lentils we filled up some empty bottles and made ourselves a band.
Sitting and standing we danced and sung some of our favourite nursery rhymes and counting rhymes with the extra of homemade shakers going as well.
With each of the days we are taking a prompt and putting the Rainy Day Mum spin on it - if you are joining in along with me you don't have to do exactly as we do, as this is what works for J, T, Rainy Day Dad and myself, but you are welcome to. The Imagination Tree and Hands on as we grow provide the prompts via the e-mail each day and we are playing along.
