Five Little Hearts Lyrics

Based on the rhyme on five little pumpkins, five little hearts is sung to the same rhythm.

Five little hearts, all in a row.
The first one said, "I love you so!"
The second one said, "Will you be my Valentine?"
The third one said, "I will, if you'll be mine!"
The fourth one said, "I'll always be your friend!"
The fifth one said, "I'll all be friends until the very end!"

Why not make some felted hearts and attach them to some craft sticks to use with this rhyme to sing along.

Bobby Shafto Lyrics

A classic children’s nursery rhyme Bobby Shafto is from the 18th Century and is believed to originate in Ireland.

Bobby Shafto's gone to Sea,
Silver Buckles at his knee,
He'll come back and marry me,
Bonny Bobby Shafto

Bobby Shafto's bright and fair,
Panning out his yellow hair;
He's my love for evermore,
Bonny Bobby Shafto!

Daisy Daisy Lyrics

This was a favourite song of mine and my brothers growing up and used to make me and my brother laugh to imagine Daisy and her husband riding off on a bicycle with 2 seats

Daisy, Daisy give me your answer do.
I'm half crazy all
for the love of you.
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage.
But you'll look sweet,
Upon the seat,
Of a bicycle made for two.

I love you, you love me lyrics

Thanks to Barney the dinosaur this was popular with my kids growing up and is a great one to sing together around Valentine’s Day.

I love you You love me
We're a happy family
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.
Won't you say you love me too!

I love you You love me
We're best friends like friends should be
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.
Won't you say you love me too

I love you You love me
We're a happy family
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.
Won't you say you love me too

I love you You love me
We're best friends like friends should be
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.
Won't you say you love me too

Lavender’s Blue Lyrics

This last song a classic British lullaby was my favourite nursery rhyme in my nursery rhyme book growing up. I loved the beautiful illustrations that accompanied the rhyme.

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly,
Lavender's green
When I am king, dilly dilly,
You shall be queen

Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so

Call up your men, dilly, dilly
Set them to work
Some to the plough, dilly dilly,
Some to the fork

Some to make hay, dilly dilly,
Some to cut corn
Whilst you and I, dilly dilly,
Keep ourselves warm

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly,
Lavender's green
When you are King, dilly dilly,
I shall be queen

Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so.

Will you be my Valentine Lyrics

This simple song is sung to the same tune as London Bridge is Falling Down and is easy to get toddlers and preschoolers singing to and your babies will love how simple it is

Will you be my Valentine,
Valentine, Valentine!
Will you be my Valentine,
Ohhh friend of mine!
