Perfect for adding your advent of activities to enjoy with the kids or even to accompany your favourite Christmas Movie don’t they look just like little Grinch Santa Snacks?
Ingredients Needed for Christmas Fruit Snacks
If you are preparing these ahead of time – do read our top tip below for preparing ahead for your kids to enjoy as it will make them look so much better at the time.
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Green grapes
- Mini marshmallows
- Toothpicks
That’s all – and these are no cook so you could set up everything ahead of time and let your little ones go to town making them.
How to Make these Cute Little Santa Snacks for Kids
Cut up the banana into about 1 cm slices and follow the top tip below if you aren’t going to make or eat the snacks now.
Slice the top off the strawberries so that it will sit nicely on the banana.
Place the grape at the bottom of the toothpick, add the slice of banana on top.
Then add the flattened strawberry it should sit nicely on top of the slice of banana.
Lastly finish off with a mini marshmallow to make the pompom at the end of the Santa’s hat.

Top Tip for Making These Ahead of Time
Whether you want to make them ahead of time (ideal for a school Christmas party) or you want to prep ahead for your kids to make this top tip will make them look 100 times better.
Cut up your bananas and place them in a small amount of lemon or lime juice the acid in the juice will stop the bananas from turning brown! It’s something that I do regularly will all of my kids snacks especially apples, pears and bananas which react with the air.

Christmas Santa Fruit Skewers
Equipment
- Toothpick 1 per skewer
Ingredients
- Bananas
- Strawberry
- Green Grapes
- Mini Marshmallows
Instructions
- Slice the Bananas into about 1cm slices. Follow the top tip in the notes to make these ahead of time
- Cut the base of the Strawberry to provide a flat surface to sit on top of the banana
- Thread the Green Grapes onto the skewer, followed by the banana and strawberry.
- Lastly, top the point of the strawberry with a Mini Marshmallows to look like the pompom on top of Santa's hat.

Prep Ahead Tip
Coat your sliced bananas in a tiny amount of lemon or lime juice this will prevent it from going brown if you prepare ahead of time.Safety
- Take care with the toothpicks – with younger children I cut out of the point to ensure that they don’t hurt themselves.
- You may also want to slice the grapes before your child eats them depending on the age of your child.
