Christmas in the Big Woods (My First Little House Books) – brought to you by Creekside Learnig
As I child I used to wake up early on a weekend and on one of our 4 TV channels there would be the series Little House on The Prairie it wasn’t until I was a adult that I discovered that this show was a series of books that kind of give a glimpse into the lives of life on the Prairie’s in the late 19th Century. Today as part of our Story Book Advent Julie from Creekside Learning joins us sharing an idea to go with the book Christmas in the Big Woods from the My First Little House Books series – a series of books for early readers.
Julie from Creekside learning shares a little treat to make with and for the kids in the form of some Christmas Pancakes that are similar to those in the book. She also shares a link to making Maple Syrup Snow Cream (keeping our fingers crossed for snow this year to give this a try), the pancakes and maple syrup snow cream would make a perfect Christmas or Advent treat for the children a special Christmas Breakfast to feast upon together.
