Children’s Art Caddy

Keeping our art and craft supplies organised is one of my goals for this year and we have got off to a good start with a simple upcycle to make a portable Art Caddy that can be stored easily and come out when the kids are ready to use it.Upcycled Children's Art Caddy

With homework, crafts and art being done regularly at home (more so than in the summer months) I needed somewhere that we could store basic supplies that are needed everyday as we have a dinning table that is used for everything and it needs to be cleared for meal times. So getting a new dishwasher proved the perfect opportunity.

Using the cutlery caddy I washed it thoroughly left it to dry and then filled with our essential supplies.

  • HB pencils with and without grips
  • Fibre tip Pens
  • Crayola Marker Pens
  • Colouring Pencils
  • Child’s scissors
  • Glue sticks

The Art Caddy is easy to store as it’s a nice shape and when we do painting brushes can be placed the space holes to dry the brushes out afterwards freeing up space on my window sill (which was my drying space for our art brushes).
