We love Aliens, we love Dinosaurs and what do J and T love more than both of them put together Pirates so when we go to review the latest “Love Underpants” book by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort we were over the moon Pirates Love Underpants.
With Pirates wearing underpants on the hunt for the golden pants and lots of dialogue to add my funny voices to (yes I read different characters with very poor different accents!) we’re having lots of fun cutting knicker elastic and saying ohhh arhhhh in pirate tones whilst playing with our pirate ship pretending to be on the hunt.

As you would expect from a Claire Feedman book there is lots of wonderful rhymes and rhythm to the story which focuses on the pirates who love underpants hunting for the golden pair – they adventure on the high seas in Big Knicker Bay, go through swamps and then find their treasure has been found by another…..
The illustrations are fantastic by Ben Cort and as fans of the “love underpants” book J and T are very familiar with the style and immediately turned to choose their favourite underpants from the inner cover.
T is going to start potty training soon and this with our other potty training books are creeping more and more into the daily reading that we do at home.
If you have a pirate loving child or are at the stage of potty training then I would recommend Pirates Love Underpants to you to add to your collection for some laughs and rhyming fun for you and your child.
