Last week I shared 10 amazing blogs for Toddlers… this week it’s the turn of the babies. Here are 10 fabulous blogs for our most precious little ones.

10 go to blogs for ideas and activities for babies

Playing with babies is one of the things that find most difficult so it is always inspiring to find people that do and have a huge range of ideas for activities to do with Babies of all ages.

First off a British Blog Nurturestore with a series of Superbaby Play which is great getting down on level with the babies and having fun. Including ideas for tummy time, games for crawlers and an audit of the play space to make it safe for babies this a great series to get you off to an amazing start playing with your littlest ones.

My great blogging friend Angelique (Angelique has some amazing post on Baby Massage – this is an amazing way to connect with your baby from early new born. I attended classes with J when he was a couple of weeks old and have been using the techniques I learnt from then on with him and also with T when she came along. We use then as part of our bedtime routine and I know if we miss them our sleep is a lot worse than normal. Check out her pinterest board for baby and infant massage for even more inspiration.

Language is one of the big milestones for babies from starting to babble to those first precious Mama and Dada and Little Stories has some really great ideas for ways to fill in those pages of new words. As a speech specialist Kim is experienced and the way that she explains what you need to do to help get those special moments. I’ve also gained real inspiration for toy organisation from her blog as well.

Although I mentioned them on the 10 go to blogs for toddlers The Educators Spin On It has some amazing Baby Play posts as well. As a major contributor to the baby and toddler play ideas board on pinterest the ideas are fab and really get me thinking of new ways to interact with T.

Another one from the toddler blogs that has great Baby Play ideas as well is The imagination Tree – with a whole category for activities Anna has inspired me to create Treasure basket with T which are slowly developing into Discovery Baskets as she gets older as well as Heuristic Play.

Full of amazing ideas Dirt and Boogers apart from having the cutest header image which every time I see it reminds me of J most of time at the moment with the dirt and nose running is full of wonderful ideas for sensory, messy and imaginative play. Lots of these ideas are great for babies and we’ve started to do some sensory bins inspired by the posts.

Plain Vanilla Mom has 4 children with one being 8 months old and shares ideas and activities that she does with the baby and all of the others as well as a huge range of other activities and post.

How we Montessori is a great blog for babies – there is Montessori activities from 2 months old and the most beautiful photo’s of her children. The activities are great and bring to life the Montessori method of learning for infants.

Although a normal go to blog for activities for J a quick look at the categories on Teach preschool revealed a huge array of Infant and Toddler activities which some great ideas including a nature walk and advice on reading with early toddlers.

With a 9 month old Growing a Jeweled Rose is bring her own imaginative fun sensory play to her little baby. For some fun different ideas then this is the place to go.

Okay so there was 10 but it turns out that there are so many more on my go to list that I just had to mention a few more
