I love sewing and when I saw some sewing posts pop up on Tuesday Tots last week I knew exactly what I would feature this week. Some ideas 14 to get your kids starting sewing.

Threading is the first steps in the process of sewing and Here Comes the Girls has a great activity as part of the Virtual Book Club for this Month.

Royal Baloo has a great post (another from the Virtual Book Club for Kids this month) on sewing is for boys lovely to see the creations that they made using the sewing machine.

The Educators Spin on It are as passionate about sewing as I am and have some great advice on sewing with your kids, a 1 year old and a 5 year old and how they can help, as well as a lovely rosemary pouch threading activity and some gnome clothes as well.

Mama Smiles is another crafty Mama and her eldest is getting into sewing in a big way designing her own gifts for friends, making beautiful butterflies to help raise money for cancer research, creating accessories for her dolls and flowers for her own clothes.
