With wonderful Rhymes and Rhythm written by Julia Donaldson and amazing drawings by Alex Scheffler it’s got to be on your toddler, preschooler and older childs book shelves (although ours is mostly in the book box of frequently read books).
All this month I will be sharing lots of Julia Donaldson books as this months Virtual Book Club for Kids spotlight author is Julia Donaldson.

















The Gruffalo was the first Julia Donaldson book I read but our favourites are now ‘Stickman’, ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ and ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’.

I adore “The Gruffalo” – some UK friends sent it over to us when Johnny was born, and that is how we discovered Julia Donaldson! I’ll have to look for “A Squash and a Squeeze”, because we also adore “Stickman” and “What the Ladybird Heard” that Catherine mentioned in her comment!
