Red Ted Art Book – Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids

It’s here – yes I have a copy and it’s as wonderful as I would have hoped it was – what you may ask well Red Ted Art’s book – Red Ted Art: Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids of course my most awaited read of the year.

Red Ted Art's BookJam packed with Crafts for kids from Toddlers to young adults (over 60 projects) there is something for everyone. I am one for crafting with my kids – but I also do a lot of crafting for them and when T was flicking through the book as she sat on the potty there was lots of “We do that” but also a few “I want that”.

The one she kept coming back to was that she wanted some strawberry’s for her play kitchen. Now this isn’t a craft that you can do with toddlers or preschoolers – a perfect one for older kids but a FANTASTIC craft to do for them and so easy to do.

So on a Sunday afternoon T and I set about making her some lovely felt food strawberry’s.

crafting with red ted artThe instructions were so clear and easy to follow, we quickly stitched up some strawberry’s together T helping me draw around a sticky Tape roll to get the circle and then organising me with her strawberry making time.

But that’s not all – with detailed instructions on all crafts and I’ll say it again over 60 of them it covers some of our favourite areas of crafting – Recycled Crafts, Printing, crafting with stones, Modelling crafts including of course my favourite Salt Dough Crafts, lots of paper crafts and special Halloween and Christmas Crafts perfect for some seasonal fun.

Maggy will be joining me this week on a Google + hangout to talk about Learning with Nature and sharing some of her Nature Crafts including one from the book.

With each craft in the book you get a complete set of what you need to complete the craft, a picture for how it should finish (I always like to know what I’m aiming for when I craft so a real added bonus) and then simple step by step instructions. If you’re not sure about some of the folds, stitches or exactly then many of the crafts have wonderful diagrams in the back of the book including some basic sewing stitches (very helpful when I couldn’t remember which was a running stitch and which was a back stitch!).

If you enjoy crafting with and for your kids then this book has something for you and needs to be added to your book shelf to dip into year round and as your kids get older.

Red Ted Art Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids will be released on 28th March in the UK but pop on over now to Red Ted Art to win a copy of the book and what is more it’s open world wide so everyone has a chance of reading this fabulous book.

We received a copy of Red Ted Art: Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids to review the thoughts and words are all our own. This post also contains affiliate links.
