E and her Mummy have been busy this week. Not only setting up their own blog but also making Rainbow fish handprints cards – these would make a great Thank you card or even a birthday card especially for a summer birthday or anyone that loves ocean life.

What you need

Different coloured paints
Paint palette
Card

How the fun happens

E at “work”

Cover all surfaces, put apron on and fold the card in half.

Pour the paint onto a palette and let the child cover their hands in paint, then using an adults guiding hand print a hand print onto the card (then move away to dry).  You can let the child carry on getting messy with the paints and extra card if you wish.

It’s so much fun

Once the paint is dry draw around the hand print with black pen, add a mouth and air bubbles (see picture), add a googly eye and add some scales onto your rainbow fish – simple yet looks fantastic!!!
