We’re just back from preschool and with hungry kids after the walk what better way to have fun and also kurb those hunger pains than with a challenge from Jacob’s Oddities.
Oddities are flavoured Biscuit snacks either cheese or Bacon and they are moorish (while we played I must have eatten half a bag). T and I loved the little shapes that they are made of and had fun picking them up and her shouting “DUCK” over and over and over and over again – she just liked the duck shapes. J liked eating one and adding one to his play.
So we then set about getting arty with them. I quickly drew a picture and J and I swam the ducks on our pond. We used a little imgaination and had the tennis racket shaped oddities as fish in the water.
J on the other hand liked pretending that the telephone was ringing and instead of answering popping it in his mouth and claiming that he needed another phone to answer! We also set about sending our rockets into space with some crayons and stick on stars.
Oddities are on special offer at the moment in Tesco’s (we particularly like the Smoky Bacon Flavour) and make for the perfect after preschool snack to fill in that gap between arriving home and tea on the table.
