Space Craft Ideas for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Learning about Space and with Space

It’s amazing how much fun you can have learning about space and using the theme of space to create learning resources. Now some of these activities may not work for your toddler, they may be too advanced, or too simple because children all develop at different paces and in their own way. However, they are easily adapted and could be saved for later on to do when they reach that point.

This rocket landing game is a fun game for toddlers that can recognise and read letters learn to start to read. Even if they don’t know how to read the letters you can still play it with them, use just one planet and land your rockets on it following the instructions to get them used to hearing the sounds in the words and blending them together.
