As well as these easy Halloween Crafts for tots we love to get creative in the kitchen – our Witches Cauldron Cakes were one of the first forays in the kitchen we shared here on Rainy Day Mum. We made them with a 7-month-old, 20-month-old and a 2 and 1-month-old! Yes, I was a little crazy with 3 toddlers in the kitchen but they were easy if a little bit messy to make.

These fun and silly Halloween Monster Faces are a great simple Craft for Toddlers to Make. It helps practice scissor skills and allows your toddlers to use their imagination. With younger toddlers you could cut out the face parts yourself with older toddlers then why not let them tear and cut the face parts themselves.

Pumpkin Crafts for Toddlers

Simple Halloween craft for toddlers and preschoolers to create spin art pumpkins. Add on faces with black paper to create your own jack-o-lanterns.

Have you tried spin art? It’s a really fun way to create with toddlers and works some of those bigger muscles as they spin the machine. We used our salad spinner to create these fun and easy Spin Art Pumpkins and Jack-o-Lanterns.

I love activities that are really open and not too messy as well as the full-on messy art that we do. This simple Pumpkin Art Activity from Frogs, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails was one that I set up regularly for mine to do at the table in the kitchen. They would sit and create whilst I cooked dinner.

Paper Plates are one of our favourite crafting materials with toddlers we even used them for our spin art Pumpkins. These Jack O’Lantern Masks are ideal for Toddlers and you to make together and you then have a fun mask to wear for a not so scary Halloween Costume.

  3. A brilliant round- up of ideas. Thanks for including ours! I am loving the alternate pumpkin ideas – I would never have thought of them. The twins used some sparkly leaf stickers this week and it looked so effective.
