As a parent and a former teacher a child’s love of reading has always been important to me – that is one of the reason why we do so many book based activities. I have also seen what happens when children are switched off reading and how difficult that makes it for them to gain the results that they are able to much later in school. So Book Love by Melissa Taylor is just what I have been looking for.
I have been very lucky to be involved with a fantastic group of people supporting Melissa Taylor’s book – Book Love, a book to help those growing readers and those that have been switched of reading. Whether you are a parent or a teacher this book gives you ideas to help switch children onto reading or to convert those that have lost the love for what ever reason. With practical, doable ideas this book is a must for your parenting book shelves or teachers desk.
Starting on the 15th November you can purchase the book. If you head over to the Book Love Page on Melissa’s blog Imagination Soup and purchase on the 15th you will be in for some great goodies as well as able to purchase the book on sale price.
