Top Tips for Getting Outdoors with your Little ones This Summer

Although the sun maybe bright, the temperature soaring it doesn’t mean that you can’t get outdoors this summer with your toddlers and preschoolers here are our top tips for getting outdoors safely and enjoying it too.

  • Head outdoors first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon evening
  • Set up a play area in the shade
  • Put umbrellas up over water tables and sand pits to provide shade throughout the day
  • Keep misters available to cool down
  • Pack some ice pops in a thermos to stay cool and hydrated
  • Use sun-safe swimwear as cover-ups
  • Don’t forget a hat!
  • Set up a drinks station where even little kids can help themselves to the water
